Daniel Satchkov

Co-founder & Machine Learning Lead

Daniel is co-founder and Machine Learning Lead of WellAI. He is also a President and a lead researcher at a fiduciary fintech startup RiXtrema. Daniel, together with the rest of the RiXtrema research team, is a winner of the 2015 Peter L. Bernstein Award, awarded for “Reverse Stress Testing”, the best article in any of the industry-leading Institutional Investor Journals. Daniel was also the 2010 Best Author from Emerald Publishing for “New Paradigm of Risk Management”, which he presented at the 2010 SQA Half-Day Conference. He speaks at numerous financial conferences and has published articles dealing with risk management issues in the Journal of Derivatives, Journal of Asset Management and others. His recent research interest is in mathematical models of language and their applications to science. That resulted in a paper called "Artificial Intelligence-powered search tools and resources in the fight against COVID-19" published in the Journal of International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) in June 2020. Daniel is a member of the international Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and Genomic Diagnostics (WG-AIGD).
